Weekly group mountain bike trail ride for families, beginner riders, and youth.

Governors Creek Mountain Bike Trail

This ride will be focused on rider development and improving physical and mental health within our community through mountain biking and the support of Lee county’s established cycling culture.

BTD Conservancy members will lead riders and we will break off into different skill and age groups as needed. Distance of ride groups will vary and be tailored to those attending. Ride distance could be a few hundred yards up to a full lap of 8 miles. Part of the intention of this ride will be to take time before and after the ride as needed to teach riding skills and basics of bike maintenance.

BTD Conservancy has a few extra bikes they will bring in case some new riders don’t have one yet. The goal is to eventually have a Dirt Camp trailer at the ride full of tools and extra bikes to loan.
